1 John 1:15-17 "Do not love this world nor the things it offers you for when you love the world, you do nt have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. these are not form the Father, but are from theis world. And tgubg world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forver."
Characters: Paul and Christians
Setting: Paul writing to other Christians.
This scripture can greatly be applied to our lives as we are to live not for the things of this world, but for God. We cant get caught up in the materialistic side of life or trying to empress others, but live for God's will one day at a time in peace through all sisuations.
