Posted by Kim and Jon |

Meditate and reflect on a scripture from your weekly reading. (Gal 3:19 - Phil 1:11) Write out the scripture and scripture reference and identify the characters (people in the story and the original audience) and setting. How can this scripture be applied to your life?

Gal 3:26
"You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus"

It is Paul writting a letter to the Galations.

I love scriptures that talk about us being children of God. It helps me stray away from 'orphan' thinking, and helps me realize that I am a beloved child that matters and that I am loved by my father in heaven.

Galatians 5:13-15
13You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature[a]; rather, serve one another in love. 14The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."[b] 15If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other

Eph. 2:10 For we are Gods masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Characters: Paul and the believers in Ephesis.
Setting: a letter from Paul.
This scripture applies to my life greatly. It tells me that because i was made by God and He has made me a new person, i can do/fulfill all of the amazing things He has planned for me.
I need to know that i can do it.
